Info Age Museum
Michael went to the Info Age Museum yesterday with the Cub Scouts. Since I didn't get to go, I asked him what he thought about it. I got a "Mom, it's all stuff from before I was born." in a voice that indicated that is was so boring.
The Radio Technology Museum (RTM) is a part of the InfoAge Science History Learning Center and Museum located at the former U.S. Army Evans Signal Laboratory. The original site was constructed by Marconi in 1914 as a transatlantic radio receiver site
The Hands-On Lab gives children of all ages the opportunity to play with radio.
Displays include:
Crystal Set
Regenerative Receiver
WWII "Bomber" Receiver
Seeing Sound
Jacob's Ladder
Tesla Coil
Basic Electrical Experiments
Ed missed the fall out shelter. So, I see a trip back there in the future for us.
Ice Cream Social
My little pumpkin had a great time with her Grandmother yesterday. Grandma took her to the ice cream social at school. They had to dress alike and since Grandma couldn't find a red shirt for her doll she stayed up crocheting one. She is such a lucky little girl. She won two prizes.

Bowling
The kids had a great play date today. Michael's friend invited them bowling. They have never bowled before but loved it. I think they are going to drag me back again sometime.

in la la land
I've been up for awhile staring at the computer trying to figure out what to post about. We have so much going on. I have a bunch of pictures to show. I'm just so behind I don't know where to start. So here I sit just staring at the screen.......
