putting in a claim with the airline

I have to put in a claim for the airline for a lost voice.  I lost it somewhere over the Grand Canyon.  We are home now.  Nicole and I started to get sick our last couple of days in AZ.  Nicole got sick first and now she is fine and it's my turn to feel horrible.  
I wish my parents didn't live so far away.  I really don't like the desert.  It OK during the winter but during the summer it's no fun.  The temp was 105-114 the whole time we were there.  We stayed in the house most of the time.  I will have pictures up shortly when I'm feeling a little better.

Visiting My Mom and Dads

Yesterday was our first full day here.  I still don't think we adjusted to the time change and traveling.  Michael slept most of the day yesterday.  He has not been feeling well.  My poor baby.  The kids behaved on the plane.  Thanks mostly to the DVD player. 
We are having a nice time here.  We just wish it wasn't so hot.  It's been in the 100's for 42 days now.  Yesterday it was 114.  It was even too hot for Dad who loves the heat.  I helped him take the nets down off the grape vines yesterday and we picked some grapes.  I think we are making grape jelly today.  The rest of the grapes are already turning into raisins.  The kids like the orange and lemon trees.   Of course it the wrong time for them.  They are still green.  It didn't stop Nicole from wanting to make fresh lemonade.  I think we are going to get a dwarf lemon tree in our house that we can roll outside in the summer.  May be even a small orange tree will be nice. 
I think it's been about four maybe even five years since I've seen my Dad.  I have to say I'm surprise with how he is doing.  I know he is not well and he has stopped walking but he looks really good.  I'm glad that I finally made it out to see him. 
I have to go plug in the lap top and make me some coffee. 

I'm leaving on a jet plane

Don't know when I'll be back again.  Actually I do know when I'll be back.  In two weeks.  The kids and I are headed out to AZ to spend some time with my parents and my sister.  It's been about 6 years since I have been out there.  The kids are excited about flying.  They have a few things that they want to do and see.  First they want to see the lemons growing on grandma and grandpas lemon tree.  They also want to see a real roadrunner.  This is the longest that we be away from daddy.  I hope the kids survive.  I hope I survive. 
It took me less than 20 minutes to pack our clothes.  I'm impressed with myself.  I had our suitcase open and I just started adding things to it.  Things I knew we wouldn't need.  It was like let me take this and Oh I'll just take that.  I still had room so why not take them right.  An hour later I took all the extra stuff back out again. ????
