Makinging my own checker set

I have been digging in to my husbands left overs again.

I want to add a small 1/2" frame around the sides and then shellac it.  I'll have to wait until he can rip some of the lumber down for me.  I have used the table saw before but anything smaller than 3" just freaks me out.

I have a few boards cut down to the same size.  I want to make a few more games.  I just have to figure out which ones I want to make.

An ugly sickness has be swarming our house since we returned from vacation.  It just keeps going around and around.  Ed got hit the hardest when we first got back and he is down again.  yuck! 

Special delivery from Aunt Sue

We got a box in the mail yesterday from Aunt Sue.  She made some clothes for Nicoles doll.  Michael decided he was going to claim a pair of the pants for his ducky.  He now has a list of the clothes he wants ducky to have.  First on his list is a pair of pants in yellow and he wants me to make him a collar.

Let the Memories Begin

Our First full day at the Magic Kingdom.  It was a long day for the kids we got there before the gates opened and stayed long enough to be one of the last buses out of the park.  There was hardly any lines.  And with four kids under six, I think we visited every bathroom in the park.

Our first stop was to Tony's for a character breakfast. 

Dillon hid under the table almost the whole time.

After a breakfast the kids were too excited to eat we jumped on the the train to head to the back of the park.
