This was our back yard this weekend. We had seven pumps going trying to keep the water out of the addition. As you can see it wasn't really making a dent. He spent so much time out there trying to save everything. The house behind us sits up higher and all the water runs right into our basement. We have the crappiest soil, too. It's clay and it takes days to dry out. Before he can do anything with it, it will rain again.
Michael saw the backyard and said "Oh, beach swim, swim swim."
While Daddy was saving us from floating away, We decided to put up the tent in the living room and watch the rain out the front window. I tried to read a book. Nicole pulls the books away and saying "No weed, Mommy, No" but she'll sit and look through the books herself. I guess they don't like my voice. Michael doesn't want me to sing anymore.
My computer time has come to an end. Nicole waking up.
