Another Beautiful Day

We went to beach again on Tuesday. It was gorgeous. I am so happy it's starting to get warmer.
I wanted to get some nice, portrait pictures of the little ones on the beach. Although I did get some really cute ones. They wouldn't even look at me. Every time I called their names to take a picture they would turn their back to me or drop their heads. I'll just have to try again. Here is one of my favorite. Of course I just can't do a simple picture this one has a soft and dreamy effect on it.

We are Back

Well, we are finally back from Michigan. We got back 2:30 Monday morning (on the 19Th). I've done nothing but go through my email. I still haven't cleaned out the car yet.

We really had a great time. Granted is was mostly diaper changes, bottles and burps. Oh, kinda sounds like home - only double time. Dylan and Dean are gorgeous. Nicole is so in love with Dean. She calls him STINKS. I love it. She had a wonderful time playing mommy.

Michael like a typical boy was a little rough with the babies. I have so many picture to post. So look for gallery 10 to pop up soon. These to pictures are my favorite.

Nicole and Michael turned two while we where away.

I started this post about a week ago. I've been trying to find to the time to finish it. It seems Nicole and Michael have been making up for lost time. My house looks like a tornado went through it again. Right now they are feeding the dogs, or at least trying to. There is dog food everywhere. They are scooping it up in their front end loaders and dump trucks, trying to get it into the bowls. No worries - its sensory play right. :) Got to laugh!

I've been having problems uploading my photos. I think there is to many.

I had to stop posting again. Michael has started pulling his diaper off to sit on the potty, that's after he has already dirtied it. I know he'll be potty trained soon, that is as soon as he gets his timing right. I think Nicole is afraid of the toilet. She went on it once. Now she screams when I try to put her on it. I guess I'll lay off that for awhile and we'll try again later.

Here is a great picture of Nicole eating dinner. Salad my babies LOVE salad. She stayed like that the whole time.

Beautiful Day

What a gorgeous day today. It was 54 degrees out. We took a trip to Belmar. They have some great playgrounds on the beach. Michael and Nicole had a blast playing on the slides and the swings. Then we walked out to the water and they played in the sand. Michael did not want to leave. Ed had to carry him off kicking and screaming. All the way down the boardwalk, he cried saannnndddd, saaaannnnddd.
Well that was today. The babies got sick on Monday. A lot of sneezing and coughing. I think it's allergies. Tuesday we finally dropped off my camera for repair. $154 ouch! I have to wait another week for it.
Wednesday we went to Jenkinson's aquarium with Grandma. Not many of our images came out. I think we got one picture of the turtles. The camera I have now can't take pictures of things that move. You press the button down and maybe a minute later it snaps the picture. That's if it feels like it.
Yesterday, I was in the crappiest mood. I had very bad headaches. Nicole wasn't feeling well either. All she did was cry. I tried to find some fun things for her to do. We spent the morning putting together the wagon Aunt Meg and Uncle Ken got them for Christmas. They enjoyed that. I took them for a ride in it over to the farmers market. Yea hay, it fits through the door. The "double wide" stroller won't fit. In fact it doesn't fit through most of the stores over there.
On our way over there I saw a bird I have never seen before. I had to look it up as soon as we got home. http://www.birds.cornell.edu/AllAboutBirds/ I've never been interested in birds before. I've only become interested in them within the last year of so. Now when I see one that I don't know what it is, I have to look it up. This bird was about the size of a pigeon with no neck and a 3" beak.
Now the funny part was I pulled up the web site, and I had no idea how to search for what I was looking for. Michael comes up and bangs on the keyboard and he pulled up the bird. What the heck?? What are the chances of that? By the way it was an American Woodcock.
Ok thats enough for now. I added a new gallery 08 of the kids. There are some really cute images of Nicole hugging Nigel.
