The Lorax Birthday

I am such a procrastinator sometime.  For my kids birthday day I could not come up with something to "do".  All the other kids in their classes are having very expensive birthday parties but they only had to invite one class.  The kids were bugging me to go see The Lorax.  I kept saying no because we had to think of what to do for a birthday party.  Four days before I printed up invites to invite both classes to the movies.  I figured waiting until the last minute less people would show up.  Well I was wrong  almost all of the kids invited showed up.  Even the kids that had already seen the movie.

Birthday Kids

My little leprechauns turned 7 today.  They are getting so big.  They just have to stop growing - NOW!  I mean it!  We headed over to Aunt Kathy's for her St Patrick's Day party.  Nicole was so shocked when her teacher showed up.  So the kids had dinner with both of their teachers on their birthday.

Fondant Fun

I was going to buy some fondant for my mother in laws birthday cake but I don't like the taste from the store bought stuff so I decided to make some marshmallow fondant at home.

It was very easy for the kids to work with.  Just like playdoh. 

I like whipped cream cheese icing better but since it was so hot out I didn't want the icing to melt or go bad.  We also made a huge cake but of course I didn't take a picture of it.  I even forgot to take my camera to the party.

My God son Aiden turned just turned one. Isn't he a little cutie.

Kids Birthday Party

We had some family and friends over for the kids birthday.  I was told by my son that we had to have a party.  He listed everyone who was to be invited.  Nicole dictated how the day would play out.  They had to wake up to balloons everywhere.  There was lots of demands.  Several times during the past week I have been uninvited to the party mostly because I wouldn't let Moe have ice cream for breakfast. 

St Patricks Day 2005

Oh, boy the kids turn 5 today. We didn't do anything special because we are having a party for them on Saturday. The party was planned by the kids and they made a list of the things I have to have. I was uninvited many times. Boy that Mo gets made when I don’t let him have ice cream for breakfast.

Happy Friggin Birthday Honey

Argh! OK so today is my husbands birthday and let me tell you that man drives me insane sometimes. Yesterday the kids and I made a cake for him. A very yummy chocolate cake with a chocolate/peanut butter icing. Since he will not be home today. I asked him if he wanted me to bring it out to Uncle Rays today since he will be there working all day on his birthday. OK great fine... OK the point of my story... I said, "Matthew(our nephew) can't have peanut butter and it has peanut butter in the icing."

He says to me "I don't really like peanut butter." Since friggin when? His favorite snack it funny bones- peanut butter and chocolate!! His favorite candy Reeses peanut butter cups!!! Sometimes I just want to strangle that man!

So today I'll say -Happy FRIGGIN Birthday Honey!!! You better smile and enjoy that cake because it maybe the last one you ever get.
