Sleeping under the stars

Have you every dreamt of sleeping under the stars? Now have you ever dreamt of sleeping under the stars, but you just didn't want to give up your bed for the cold hard ground. Tonight I am so - I mean just sooooooooooooooooooo lucky to have the chance to sleep under the stars and in my own bed. That's right. In my own bed and no I didn't move it out side.

So as you can guess we did get the roof off today. What we didn't do was get the roof back on. I was thinking about going to the hotel down the street, but that would require packing. You know not just clothes. When you have little ones, you have to remember all their stuffed animals and favorite blankets and stuff. That's just too much work right now.

So off to bed I go to gaze at the beautiful stars and pray I don't freeze my butt off.

Once again

Once again I'm slacking on my blog. I have so many post started, but I never finish. I keep getting interrupted. Yeah right that never happens here.

Here's the update. We have been working on caterpillars, butterflies and bugs for the last two weeks. Photos can be seen on my flickr page. I'm not even going to attempt to post a picture on my blog, because I just get errors and loose everything I typed.

BTY three of our caterpillars emerged yesterday and the last two this morning.

On the home front. We have gotten so much done. Yesterday we installed our patio doors in as well as the bathroom and pantry doors are in. It is so nice to be able to go to the bathroom and close the door. It's like -like -heaven! This weekend when everyone is barbecuing we will be ripping the roof off. So pray for us that we won't have any rain. We need a nice long dry weekend.

So what do you think, should we wait and release the butterflies after the new roof is on.

Moe's Mad

Moe's mad at me.

Today I'm working on listing things on freecycle and demolishing the old bathroom. So I'm pulling down sheet rock and Moe's yelling at me to put it back. I tried explaining to him what I was doing but he just didn't want to hear any of it. lol

I just took a break from the demo to give my arms a rest and to read them our last library book before they have to go back. I think I'm going to head up to the attic again. To see what else I can drag out by myself.

Back to work I go. High-ho! High=ho! lol Too much sheetrock dust. It's gone to the brain.

The kids have been so excited watching the caterpillars. We moved them to our butterfly house yesterday. We should have butterflies next week.
