Beautiful Day

What a gorgeous day today. It was 54 degrees out. We took a trip to Belmar. They have some great playgrounds on the beach. Michael and Nicole had a blast playing on the slides and the swings. Then we walked out to the water and they played in the sand. Michael did not want to leave. Ed had to carry him off kicking and screaming. All the way down the boardwalk, he cried saannnndddd, saaaannnnddd.
Well that was today. The babies got sick on Monday. A lot of sneezing and coughing. I think it's allergies. Tuesday we finally dropped off my camera for repair. $154 ouch! I have to wait another week for it.
Wednesday we went to Jenkinson's aquarium with Grandma. Not many of our images came out. I think we got one picture of the turtles. The camera I have now can't take pictures of things that move. You press the button down and maybe a minute later it snaps the picture. That's if it feels like it.
Yesterday, I was in the crappiest mood. I had very bad headaches. Nicole wasn't feeling well either. All she did was cry. I tried to find some fun things for her to do. We spent the morning putting together the wagon Aunt Meg and Uncle Ken got them for Christmas. They enjoyed that. I took them for a ride in it over to the farmers market. Yea hay, it fits through the door. The "double wide" stroller won't fit. In fact it doesn't fit through most of the stores over there.
On our way over there I saw a bird I have never seen before. I had to look it up as soon as we got home. http://www.birds.cornell.edu/AllAboutBirds/ I've never been interested in birds before. I've only become interested in them within the last year of so. Now when I see one that I don't know what it is, I have to look it up. This bird was about the size of a pigeon with no neck and a 3" beak.
Now the funny part was I pulled up the web site, and I had no idea how to search for what I was looking for. Michael comes up and bangs on the keyboard and he pulled up the bird. What the heck?? What are the chances of that? By the way it was an American Woodcock.
Ok thats enough for now. I added a new gallery 08 of the kids. There are some really cute images of Nicole hugging Nigel.
