We really do love each other

They like to play rough, pushing and pulling each other around. Every once in a while they will just stop and give each other a hug. It's so very cute.

Sensory Play

I feel I am so behind on my blog. Here are some of the sensory "games" we have played this last week.

This was our soft box. It's full of cotton balls and colored feathers. We had a great time. The kids love having cotton ball fights and they got a kick out of tickling each other with the feathers.

This was another day we played with uncooked pasta.

Ah, our beloved table went to the curb yesterday. We will miss you dearly.
They just love to play with water. It's also a great way to get the floors cleaned.

Now this is a little too close.

We worked on shapes all last week. I didn't get anything out of the babies no recognition at all. Then out of the blue Michael opens his coloring book a points to - and says circle. He's not interested in any other shapes yet. He'll point to a star and look at me and watch my lips as I say S T A R, but he won't repeat it.

Ahh, we are getting closer to capturing the Joette face.

Toddler Fun

Here are some pictures of the fun we have been having. Ed bought a lot of wrapping paper from the dollar store. We had so much extra we decided to use it for drawing. It fits the table perfectly. After Micheal fell off his chair we moved it to the floor in the living room.

I think Mommy enjoyed it just as much as the kids. I felt very proud when the recognized something that I drew. We used Elmo and Ernie's face to find the facial features. Michael will say all the features except cheek. Nicole can say about half of the them although she can point them all out.

Ah, What yummy fun. We found this watermelon yogurt. I thought it would be great for painting with. Michael and Nicole just looked at me strange when I started painting with it. Michael asked for a spoon, and Nicole said Peeaaassss. After they ate half of it they got into the painting.

So much for the DAILY updates. I should have known better. Ed took Michael for a ride in the dump truck today. He loved it. Nicole and I played in sand. Then we went inside to play on the computer. This was the first time we have ever split up the twins. It was my first time realizing what it would be like with just a singleton. I, I, ---- I don't know what to say. It was just so different, having only one of the babies. It was just so - EASY!!
Here is Nicoles 1st computer drawing.
