OK, I had a rather - well duh -moment yesterday. I love magazines. I have tons of magazines, I have been collecting. You know there is this great article I want to save in this one, and Oh that picture -it is the exact color I want for the walls in my kitchen. I used to rip them out and put them in a scrapbook. That only worked for the home decor type of pictures. Now I have recipes, photography books and gardening information. It really keeps adding up. So anyway yesterday I was photographing the kids artwork when it clicked. I don't hold on to all the kids work. Why should I hold on to my magazines? Yesterday I sat down with my camera and my stack of magazines and photographed all the things I was saving them for. Then I went to my computer and created a bunch of folders to put the pictures in. I now have all my info saved in their proper folders. It's so much easier to look in the craft folder for the craft I wanted to do with the kids than to search through the magazines. I would always forget which one it was anyway. So that was my well DUH moment.

Snow Day
It snowed this morning. It looked so beautiful and so clean. To bad we had to clean the sidewalk. Now it just looks dirty. Click on the link and head over to flickr to see some more pictures. --That spot of snow smack dab in the middle of Coles head---I absolutely did NOT hit my daughter in the head with a snowball! I would never do something like that! :)
Before and Aft-HER
BEFORE
& AFTER
Meet- Her. Yep, that's her name. It was so cold out side I didn't want to do anything. So we sat on the couch and veged out. It took me about two hours to make. Cole stuffed it and Moe strung the star buttons onto the needle. I have a big brown "spot" that I wanted to put on her back, but I ran out of thread. I may just try this again with a nice pair of argyle socks. Next time I'll make sure to make the front legs the same size as the back, then maybe it will stand. The kids are currently walking Her right now. - They put a string on like a leash and are draging her around the kitchen island, yelling "Come on puppy."
