I wish I could go back to bed and start the day over

It's only 6am and the day has started pretty shitty for me so far.  First off I wake up and couldn't remember if I had to work today.  Since I couldn't really call anyone at 4 in the morning, I got ready to go into work.  I got out of the shower without rinsing out my conditioner and had to jump back in. 
I get to work and run over something medal in the parking lot and I could hear the air leaking out of my tire.  I go into the building to find out that it's my day off.
I should have just stayed in bed.

Picture This....

You know the video of the cat stretching and rolling off of the TV.  I'm sure everyone has seen one. 
Well picture this.  A Great Dane sleeping on the couch.  He stretches and rolls backwards off the couch.  Very much like the cat but not as graceful.  Now add a clip of a body wrestler body slamming someone onto the coffee table.  That's my puppy.  He flipped the coffee table on its side this morning and sent everything flying.  I wish I caught it on video.  I laughed so hard I almost peed myself.

Downtown Tree Lighting

 We happened to be the first of the GS to arrive.  The kids got to get up close to see the ornaments they made for the tree.  We had only made 250.  The tree really needed a lot more than that.

This is Nicole's GS troop.  I don't know if all the girls were there.  I thought there was only 50 something kids in her troop.  They said that there are 68 kids in total.  I am so glad that my friend came with me to keep an eye on Michael.  He likes to run off.  He has done it to me many times.  Last night was no exception.

This troop is run very much like a boy scout troop.  They have all ages and levels in one troop.

These are just the Daisies.  Of course my daughter is hiding in the back.

Can you see Santa?

We got on the line so that Michael could sit on Santa's lap.  Nicole refused to sit with them.  I thought we had gotten past that stage but I guess not.

IPlay America trip

Daddy took the kids to iPlay America yesterday with the girl scouts.  I was very lucky to have a few hours to myself.  I did nothing but try and catch up on some sleep.  We had some friends that had gone when they had first opened and they said it was so expensive.  We got a great deal through Nicole's GS troop, I couldn't turn it down.  I figured it would be the only time they get to go.  The kids love the go karts.  Daddy's favorite was the laser tag.  Of course I really enjoyed my sleep.

Early Mornings

I'm back to working the early morning shift again.  I just comfy and started sleeping in until 5  now they changed my schedule around again for the holidays.  Today I went in at 3am. Its now 3pm and I'm ready to crash.  I still have to get everything set up for tomorrow morning. Make the kids lunch and stuff.  Maybe I could take a nap??  Not yet!  Ed says we have to give the dog a bath.  Yippee
